The Function
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to execute the mechanical assembly, installation, and testing of our containerized Flywheel and Battery Energy Storage Systems (FESS/BESS). You will be responsible for the precise and safe construction of these systems based on technical drawings and specifications. Your work is vital in delivering reliable, compliant, and maintenance-friendly systems for industrial and grid-connected applications.
Your responsibilities include:
- Accurately assembling and integrating mechanical components, sub-systems, and complete systems (FESS/BESS).
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Assisting with the installation and cabling of auxiliary and cooling systems.
- Performing mechanical quality controls and inspections during and after assembly.
- Identifying, reporting, and resolving mechanical malfunctions and deviations at client locations.
- Adequately recording and documenting performed work and any modifications.
You are

We are looking for the following qualities and skills:
- MTS diploma or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Demonstrable work experience (2–5 years) in mechanical and/or electrical assembly within an industrial or machine-building environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical engineering is a plus.
- Solution-oriented and result-driven throughout the assembly process.
- Fluent in Dutch; English proficiency at level A2/B1.
- A strong focus on safety and a safety-conscious mindset.

Our flywheel technology was originally designed by The Boeing Company and has been licensed to QuinteQ under a worldwide exclusive license agreement. The Function
We’re looking for an Application Programmer to develop, integrate, and support the control software for containerized flywheel and battery energy storage systems (FESS/BESS). You’ll build the logic that serves the customers application and also controls all necessary functions that coordinate flywheel and/or chemical battery operation, fault monitoring, power conversion, auxiliary systems (cooling, vacuum, fire suppression), safety and remote monitoring. Your experience will supplement the team already in place for delivering reliable, compliant, and serviceable systems for industrial and grid-connected deployments.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Having overview of all control aspects of the system from internal safety to customer application & interface(s)
- (co-) Designing and implementing the control aspects of the system
- Suggesting improvements/solutions
- Managing changes to the system
- Component, sub-system & System testing
- Capture & document the above adequately
You are

We are looking for the following qualities:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Proven experience programming PLCs in industrial environments, preferably mechatronic
- 2-5 years relevant work experience
- Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, software, safety,and field service).
- Solution-oriented and result driven in the product development process
- Fluent in English both written and verbal. Dutch is a nice-to-have, but not required
- Control design & tuning

You are
… a candidate that takes initiative and ownership, is pragmatic, conscientious and feels comfortable with prioritizing on a regular basis. Someone who is proactive, has a ‘can-do’ attitude, and doesn’t mind getting her/his hands dirty.
We are looking for the following qualities:
- Engineering degree in a relevant field of engineering studies (Aeronautical, Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
- A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably with an emphasis on planning
- Analytical, pragmatic
- Solution-oriented and result driven in the product development process
- Fluent in English both written and verbal. Dutch is a nice-to-have, but not required
Furthermore, distinguishing qualities would be your experience or familiarity with:
- Project Planning techniques & tools
- Mechanical system assembly
- Mechatronics system engineering
